The greatest President in our history is feeling out pain. He said he could relate to the plight of Americans striving in the struggling economy to pay bills while saving for their kids' education. He also said that he is "not that far removed from what most Americans are going through."
So I guess I feel better now. Obama is going through some rough times like million of Americans.
I know many people who are and have been out of work. Struggling to pay the mortgage and just trying to survive.

Does anyone recall when Bush won his second term and the economy was in trouble he scaled down the inauguration party because it would not be right to have this huge event when Americans were suffering? I guess the Obama’s feel it will help the American people to see his family and friends traveling the globe. Granted it is his money to spend but we have to pay for the security and the travel to get them there. Would they pay for my travel to go on vacation? Next stop for the President Martha’s Vineyard!
Arizona. What is happening here? The federal government does nothing to stop the illegal’s from crossing the border and free loading on taxpayer dollars. Arizona just takes the federal law that is in place but is not being enforced and makes it there own. So what does the White House do? Sue the state to stop the law from taking effect. Why? One can only feel it is a political move for the November election.
The judge kept most of the law in tact but the important part that would allow police if stopping a person for a violation to ask for poof of citizenship. Maybe it’s just me but is there something wrong with that? So some liberal judge rules against the majority of what people of Arizona wanted and says no.
This is just another example of the court system not working. Meanwhile when this ruling was overturned we have Mexicans (illegal at that) dancing in the streets waving the Mexican flag! Another slap in the face the America. When will this lunacy end?
Let’s go to NY. A mosque being build a few blocks front the attack site on 911. Yes everyone has a right in this country to practice and criticize any religion. Well almost any religion. Christianity you can blast and say what you want and Christians can’t get upset because of freedom of speech. But criticize the Muslim religion and they threaten to kill you as they did with the Danish paper that published a parody of Mohammad.
How can NYC allow this Mosque to be built? I do not care about freedoms or rights in this case. It is about what is right. This is not. Bloomberg is running around defending this telling us to be tolerant of other religions. Tolerant? That is what got us in trouble and will destroy this country and it values.
Because we are so afraid to offend any other nationality that comes here it will ultimately destroy our way of life. Our culture and values are being replaced by other cultures and their values.
Even the wars we fight are politically correct and we cannot win them. In Afghanistan if we were to Nuke some of the mountains we can end the war quickly. But we are too concerned what others will think of us. So we allow these people to control us and attack us over and over.
There is nothing wrong with being the superpower we once were. When countries feared us and worried that our superior military would destroy them. Now our great fearless leader says let’s talk. We will talk with the terrorists and explain to them that we are peaceful and welcome them here.
They should not welcome here unless they our customs. As we have to respect their culture when in their country they should also respect ours when here I America.
This Mosque is a slap in the face to all Americans. It should not be allowed and they need to be investigated as to where the money is coming from. Odds are pretty good that it will be found by some terrorist organization and used as a recruiting tool for radicals to end the American way of life.
The person who is heading the effort to build the Mosque, Feisal Abdu Rauf has emerged as a controversial figure because of his refusal to acknowledge Hamas as a terrorist organization, which is how the U.S. government classifies the group. The imam told "60 Minutes" in 2001 that U.S. foreign policy could be considered an "accessory" to the 9/11 attacks, though he said in the same interview, "Fanaticism and terrorism have no place in Islam."
Then to add insult to injury The State Department confirmed Tuesday that the administration is sponsoring Feisal Abdul Rauf's trip to Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, which is described as part of a program to send Muslims abroad to educate other countries about the role of religion in the United States.
Rauf and his partners are preparing to build a $100 million Islamic center and mosque near Ground Zero, the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks that left nearly 3,000 dead.
That means we are paying for this trip as taxpayers.
